Industrial visit to Thimphu
Our landscape trainees successfully completed an industrial visit to Thimphu and Punakha, gaining valuable exposure to professional landscape practices and green development initiatives. The visit included insightful learning experiences at the Dechencholing Royal Prjoect, National Biodiversity Centre, Royal Botanical Garden, Ludrong Memorial Garden, Changyul Park, and the Green Bhutan Corporation Limited (GBCL), Lampelri Botanical Park, Punakha Kaja Throm and Chimipang Royal Project (Wangdue).
Trainees learned about urban landscaping, plant selection, nursery management, and the integration of traditional Bhutanese design principles in modern landscapes — an experience that beautifully connected theory with practical application.
