Admission
- General Criteria:
- Fulfill the age, qualification and other requirements in the relevant field of study as specified by the institute.
- Have motivation to undertake employment in the relevant field.
- Minimum qualification as required by the course with required documentation certified by competent authority.
- Positive attitude towards becoming a skilled worker.
- Should not be reflected in the youth delinquent management system at the time of selection.
- Must produce school leaving certificate with character certification.
- Must produce proof of citizenship.
- Must produce a medical certificate from a competent medical authority.
- Apply online through TVET-MIS/BLMIS (https://www.blmis.gov.bt)
2. Application procedure
- Availability of all long-term training and planned/customized training shall be announced in the media and on the institute website, seeking applications or nominations.
- The announcement shall contain details on the program title, venue of the program, commencement date, duration, application procedures and requirements.
- Interested youth shall apply online through TVET-MIS//BLMIS (https://www.blmis.gov.bt) on or before the last submission date as announced by the training provider.
3. Selection procedure
- Candidate (S) shall be short-listed by an admission committee based on Class X marks.
- All short-listed candidates shall be informed to take part in the selection interview through call.
- The admission committee must verify all documents as per the relevant program criteria during the selection interview.
- The admission committee must conduct interviews as per the format and may perform written interviews or physical tests if applicable.
- The admission committee members shall be empowered to make final and binding decisions deemed necessary if needed.
- The final selection shall be based on set weighting.
